The Celebration Family of Churches gathered together from around the whole world for the annual Kingdom Prayer Conference, which was held from the 28th to the 30th of January at the Celebration Centre in Harare. The Conference was hosted by Celebration Prayer Ministries International and centred on the theme “Building Capacity”.
For many of those who attended the conference, gathering with 5000 likeminded Christians was a huge joy and privilege. People from 15 nations, 70 churches, along with 189 pastors revealed in heartfelt worship and Holy Spirit inspired teaching and preaching. This year’s event included day sessions where pastors in the ministry taught sessions covering diverse subject matter regarding “all manner of prayer”. Pastor Tom spoke each evening, stretching capacity and demonstrating prayer power. Pastors and prayer leaders were particularly appreciative, not only for the insightful teaching on the “Person” and “gifts” of the Holy Spirit, but also for the Holy Spirit activity that was manifest.
Many of those who attended are still riding on the crest of a wave from the Prayer Conference. There is an exciting sense of God given momentum as more and more people are discovering their gifts and purpose in the vision of transforming lives and reforming nations. All were equipped and empowered, having had their spiritual capacity built up and so were inspired for the great calling in their domains and in this ministry.
