Champions for Life take Reformation message to !

Champions for Life which is a Celebration Health ‘HIV and AIDS programme that targets children and adolescents living with HIV is growing from strength to strength. Indeed, thanks to their noteworthy and positive approach to the fight against HIV/AIDS,“The Champions” have emerged as one of ’s most transformed group of young people ready to reform the HIV/AIDS sector. Just last year, they held six  1 day seminars, 2 camps and 5 community outreaches; touching the lives of 3000 children in Zimbabwe .The organization is expanding to  8 cities around Zimbabwe and now has arrived in Kenya!

The Champions for Life travelled to and -seeking to do their part to transform lives and reform nations in East Africa. Being split into two groups the Champions teams ministered door to door in Mathare, . Mathare which is 5km away from Nairobi is one of Africa’s oldest and biggest slums and has a population of 500 000 people. In addition to this The Champions hosted 1 day seminars in Mathare and Nairobi. 110 Kenyan Champions made first time commitments to the Lord Jesus. Many healings occurred as ministry took place at each of the seminars and meetings. Young Kenyans reported relief from chest pains, as well as head and stomach infections. A number of partially deaf champions were able to hear clearly and some who were partially blind were able see clearly.  

A spirit of joy; supernatural joy, infused their whole beings, washing away all the sorrows pains and grief of the past. Many rolled on the floor laughing at their enemies of sickness, rejection and the stigma attached to the HIV virus. At the rate the Champions are going nothing can stop this unique group of history makers, despite having been infected with the deadly virus, from pressing ahead and pursuing their life purpose with right-thinking, peace and joy.
