Ambassadors visit Celebration Centre!

Chinese ambassador  Over the last two months the Celebration Centre has been attracting international
  attention.

In June, 2010 Pastor Bonnie and the Celebration team were honored to meet and
host his Excellency, Ambassador Shin of the people’s republic of the Chinese
Embassy, along with his associate Arts and Cultural Minister, Mr. Lihua, who both
visited the Celebration Centre in Borrowdale, Harare.

Ambassador Shin heard about the Centre after more than 30 physically
handicapped Chinese artists - with varying disabilities - showcased their different
talents in what was said to be an incredible art show in May of this year.

Rumor has it the artists were so awed with their Celebration experience,
Ambassador Shin wanted to see it for himself.

Both Ambassador Shin and Mr. Lihua were given VIP tours of the facilities hosted by
Pastor Bonnie and the Celebration Conference Services Events Coordinator, Alice
Hamilton. The China men said they were “very impressed” with the Centre and look
forward to having a coffee in the newly renovated "Connections" restaurant, which
  officially opened August 20, 2010.

“He was impressed with not only the building, but the facilities, management and vision,” said Mrs. Hamiltion. “He was amazed with the layout and structure and was surprised a building like this existed in Zimbabwe...”
