Celebration Church, Borrowdale is proud to announce the Grand Opening of “Connections!” A unique coffeehouse/restaurant created as a place for people to form meaningful relationships while sipping on a hot caramel latte or sharing a piece of “Red Velvet” cake.
It’s no coincidence the new and improved diner was named with a specific purpose in mind – sharing the same name as Pastor Bonnie’s book “The Great Connection”; for people CONNECT with one another.
Closed since December 2009, the newly renovated interior offers a classy new look, fresh menu and lively vibe. From dark wooden floors to cool blue lighting, mixed with fresh flowers and a breath of trendy music, Connections offers an atmosphere which entails it is the “place to be.”
From its carefully brewed coffee to its new menu, management, equipment and chefs, Connections thrives on a customer service unmatched in Harare. A high standard of excellence – relying heavily on setting, hospitality and speed – gives Zimbabwean’s and visitors an experience like no other.
Coffee connoisseur and “Champions For Life” Project Director, Dr. Andrew Reid, was one of the first Connections customers.
“Connections café is awesome,” said Reid. “…The beautiful décor gives a warm and intimate feel that will help people connect... Just how Pastor Bonnie prophesized; nations will connect…”
Connections waitress, Nicole Fourie, is passionate about her customers and they’re experience in her care.
“I love the customers with all my heart, said Fourie. “It’s a place where everyone can relax and connect, meet new people, develop relationships and create opportunities... Whether they crave something sweet and savory or warm and foamy, we’re here to satisfy the customer…”
Connections General Managaer, Harry Van Bijon, is familiar with the business but more importantly, is on-board with the vision of relationships, quality, service and authenticity.
“We’re promising our clients a new experience,” said Bijon. “An extraordinary place where people feel comfortable, right at home and want to come back…”
Bijon said if anyone’s visiting Zimbabwe, make sure they embark on the great connection!
